Meet Sushama 

The Rev. Dr. Sushama Austin-Connor serves as the Acting Executive Director and Chief Program Officer at Faith Matters Network and as a faith leader and school chaplain at the Christina Seix Academy (CSA). Sushama is also the Founding Program Director of the Black Theology and Leadership Institute at Princeton Theological Seminary. Through a range of leadership roles throughout her career, she has stewarded a high-impact national network of faith leaders, researchers, congregants, and community leaders committed to social justice and community improvement. Sushama has worked in leadership roles at Harvard Divinity School, Wellesley College, and the United Church of Christ. Sushama honors her call to public ministry, public theology, & Christian leadership. Sushama is the proud mother of Lekh (15) and Rowan Connor (13) and wife of Rob Connor, Ph.D., Head of School at CSA. Sushama is ordained to ministry in the United Church of Christ.
