What makes Soularize a One-of-a-Kind Gathering for Spiritual Innovators & Changemakers?

Imagine an event where you’re not just a passive listener but an active participant, shaping the conversations that matter most to you. Imagine a gathering that prioritizes meaningful connections over content, where relationships aren’t just peripheral but the reason people show up. Imagine interdisciplinary learning, soulful practices from diverse spiritual backgrounds, and space for both lament and laughter. These are just some of the possibilities that inspired me to volunteer as event director for Soularize 2025.

I’ve attended many conferences, but the most memorable and impactful ones have seldom been the result of what someone said from a stage. Rather, it’s almost always been the result of a deep conversation shared over lunch or a dinner table. As Grace Lee Boggs said, “it’s never a question of ‘critical mass.’ It’s always about critical connections.” So, our team has been asking, “What would it look like to create an event designed to help people form those critical connections?”

We determined that the best thing we can do with a room full of spiritual innovators, changemakers, and visionaries from diverse backgrounds is to let them talk to each other! This means a schedule with intentionally spacious margins and plentiful opportunities for both organic and facilitated connection.

We want people to have the conversations that need to happen. Do you have a topic or question you'd like to collaborate on with your peers? We’re inviting Soularize participants to propose, facilitate, and lead learning conversations (AKA workshops).

Can you offer a soulful practice, share inspiration through music or art, or tell a story? Do you have research or other work to share? Our main sessions will be a dynamic blend of content, conversations, panel interviews, stories, practices, and more, all thoughtfully designed to engage the heart, soul, mind, and body. We envision Soularize as a banquet where we celebrate and feast on the abundance of our collective wisdom and gifts.

Ultimately, I’m passionate about Soularize 2025 because our world’s challenges are too complex for anyone to tackle alone. We need to come together! Eugene Kim is a spiritual innovator and the Event Director of Soularize 2025. He founded New Wine Collective, a church innovation think tank and R&D lab, and also serves as Executive Director of the Wild Fig Network, an emerging relational network for ministers and ministries that seeks to reimagine traditional denominational structures from the ground up.
